Vehicle Technician Role at Lookers PDI Centre

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Lookers PDI Centre in North Shields. As a key member of our service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough vehicle health checks using the latest technology to identify any issues or potential problems.
  • Perform vehicle services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Carry out any additional repairs once authorized by the customer, ensuring all work is properly documented and warranty repairs are completed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Take customers' vehicles out on road tests to ensure all faults are rectified and the vehicle is safe to drive.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated and ambitious individual with prior experience working within a workshop environment. You will require a full UK driving license and completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification. MOT license would be a bonus. Previous experience working with the brand would be advantageous, although full brand accreditation training can be provided.
