Overview

Role Summary

Lookers PDI Centre in North Shields is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team. As a key member of the service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough vehicle health checks using the latest technology
  • Perform vehicle services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
  • Carry out additional repairs once authorized by the customer
  • Ensure warranty repairs are completed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Take customers' vehicles on road tests to verify all faults are rectified
  • Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a workshop environment. You will be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn, with the ability to work to the highest standards. A full UK driving license and completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification are essential. Previous experience with the brand is advantageous, but not essential, as full brand accreditation training can be provided.
