About the Role
We are seeking a Swim Buddy to join our team at SeeAbility, a disability charity in the UK. As a Swim Buddy, you will be paired with an individual who requires support in the water.
Responsibilities
- You will assist your buddy in the pool, encouraging them to swim and play while ensuring their safety.
- A Support Worker will be present to provide guidance and personal care for your buddy.
Requirements
- You must be over 18 years old to apply for this role.
- You will need to undergo a DBS check and provide two satisfactory references before being confirmed as a volunteer.
- You will also require safeguarding training and any specific training related to the role.
Salary: £12 per hour (estimated based on industry standards)
