  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients in the food industry
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets in the grocery sector
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analyse consumer trends to identify new opportunities for growth in the European market
  • Product Placement: Ensure optimal placement and promotion of our products in retail outlets
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and promotional activities with grocery retailers
  • Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and account activities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally

The Successful Candidate

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in national account management within the food and beverage industry, preferably with a focus on grocery accounts
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the grocery retail environment and consumer trends in the food industry
  • Results-Oriented: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as required to meet with key clients and attend industry events
