Azets, a leading accountancy and business advisory services firm, is seeking a seasoned Senior Accounting Manager to join its technical accounting team. As a key member of the team, you will provide expert accounting support to a diverse range of clients, including those on AIM, Main list, and backed by private equity.
About the Role
This senior position demands a deep understanding of IFRS, experience in researching complex accounting areas, and the ability to articulate them to clients. As a senior manager, you will oversee a client portfolio, lead projects, and prepare technical papers for audit purposes. Additionally, you will contribute to departmental operations, from financial management to recruitment and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships, address queries, and ensure effective WIP and billing management
- Handle client inquiries, draft accounting documents, lead projects, and meet deadlines
- Contribute to the development of the Technical Accounting team
- Assist in departmental management and actively promote Azets' core values
Requirements
- ACCA/ACA qualified accountant with profound knowledge of complex accounting areas
- Four to five years of post-qualification experience
- Detail-oriented with the ability to address issues promptly
- Engagement in departmental management, training, finances, and business growth initiatives
