Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and well-organised Receptionist to join our Learning & Development Department.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all visitors, greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. Excellent communication skills and experience of working in a customer-focused environment are essential.
The role requires the ability to work as part of a wider team as well as having the ability to work independently when required, using initiative, and responding to change.
Some light moving and handling is required to ensure training rooms are fit for purpose, ensuring the IT equipment is in full working order as well as the ability to problem-solve IT issues on the day.
The post holder will have a proactive role in providing vital administrative support to Learning and Development. The post holder will act as Receptionist for delegates, professional visitors, and colleagues who access the Learning & Development services and site.
The post holder will provide face-to-face assistance, advice, and information whilst projecting a professional and helpful manner. The post holder will also provide administrative support as directed by the Learning & Development Services Manager.
The post holder will also contribute to the maintenance of facilities and resources. As part of the Learning & Development team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality customer service and be part of an environment that is conducive to a good learning experience.
