Administrative Support Officer

Bagnalls Painting & Decorators in Leicester is seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to join its dedicated team.
This role is part of the ongoing expansion of the Leicester team, offering a permanent 25 hours per week position on a Monday to Friday basis. While sales experience is beneficial, it is not required, and a confident telephone manner is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the management and sales team, including filing, photocopying, and scanning.
- Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
- Manage accurate documents, including staff training records, vehicle fleet information, and new starter information.
- Oversee office inventory, including stationery, PPE, uniform, and kitchen supplies.
- Contribute to financial administration, including contacting debtors, checking credit card reports, and collaborating with the finance team on various financial procedures.
About the Ideal Candidate:
You will be a confident individual with excellent IT and literacy skills, as well as a positive communicator via telephone. This role involves regular customer contact, which may include pursuing overdue payments or handling complaints.
Essential Criteria:
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.

This role is based in our Leicester office. Bagnalls is a leading, family-owned painting contractor, established in 1875, with 14 branches across the UK.
