Ackerman Pierce Ltd Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join our team as a Community Rehabilitation Physiotherapist. This role is based in London and involves working with adults with disabilities in the community.

Job Description:

As a Community Rehabilitation Physiotherapist, you will work as part of an inter-professional team with supervision from a senior physiotherapist. You will undertake interprofessional assessments and independently manage a caseload of patients who require rehabilitation and reablement. Your responsibilities will include formulating, delivering, and evaluating individual physiotherapy treatment programmes using clinical assessment, reasoning skills, and knowledge of treatment skills such as manual physiotherapy techniques, health promotion, provision of equipment, gait re-education, postural management, and graduated exercise programmes.

You will also provide regular communication and advice to clients, relatives, GPs, and other health and social care professionals. This may be in person, via telephone, email, or letter. Additionally, you will explain to and educate clients about their condition, which may require overcoming barriers to communication such as language differences and complex neurological impairment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience working with adults with disabilities in the community. An Enhanced DBS/CRB check is required (we can assist with obtaining this). We offer a competitive salary, free onsite parking, and opportunities for additional training within the authority.

The salary for this position is approximately £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact us for further information.
