About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Band 6 Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive Physiotherapy service to residents of Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea, and Hammersmith and Fulham.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Be an active member of the clinical team, providing a comprehensive Physiotherapy service to residents in each specialist rotational area.
  2. Build up and maintain key relationships with referring services across CLCH to facilitate appropriate referrals and an understanding of the role of the Physiotherapist and the multi-professional team.
  3. Supervise junior staff, Rehabilitation Assistants, and Physiotherapy students.
  4. Participate in Central London Community Healthcare Band 6 specialist rotations.
  5. Work in a variety of settings, including bedded rehab, clinics, clients' own homes, residential care homes, and community centres.
  6. Support self and service development through active participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and by participating in any audit or research being undertaken by the service.

Person Specification
  • Essential qualifications: Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy and attendance at specialist short courses or equivalent CPD activities within the specialist areas of Adult Rehabilitation, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Older People Rehabilitation.
  • Desirable qualifications: Postgraduate degree in a relevant area.
  • Essential experience: Minimum 2 years clinical experience post-registration as a Band 5 Physiotherapist and experience working in a wide range of specialist clinical areas.
  • Desirable experience: Experience in Falls Prevention, Community Rehabilitation, respiratory care, and learning disabilities.
  • Skills: Assessment and treatment of adults with complex multipathologies, knowledge and understanding of complex medical conditions, knowledge of the role of Allied Health Professionals, and interdisciplinary team working.
