Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Bank team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a Bank Physiotherapist, you will provide a comprehensive therapy service to residents of Barnet referred into the service.

Main Duties

Develop and implement treatment plans for clients with stroke and other neurological conditions, exacerbations of frailty-related conditions, and multiple co-morbidities.

Use advanced clinical reasoning skills to formulate and deliver individual and group treatment programmes.

Job Responsibilities

Continuously evaluate own practice to ensure it is up-to-date and evidence-based, complying with Trust and Professional clinical guidelines.

Manage clinical risk within own patient caseload to meet service needs.

Travel to clients' homes, taking necessary assessment and treatment equipment as required.

Person Specification

Education

Essential

Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy

Current HCPC registration

Evidence of up-to-date CPD portfolio

Involvement in Appraisal Scheme

Attendance at specialist short courses or equivalent CPD activities within the specialist areas of Adult Rehabilitation, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Older People Rehabilitation

Desirable

Experience post-registration as a Band 5 physiotherapist

Experience working at a Junior level in a wide range of specialised clinical areas, including outpatients, neurology, rehabilitation, orthopaedics, and respiratory

Experience working in neuro/stroke rehab

Experience working in the NHS
