Job Summary

To be an integral part of our clinical team, providing a comprehensive therapy service to residents of Barnet referred to our service.

Main Duties

Develop and implement treatment plans for clients, ensuring they receive the best possible care.

Responsible for organizing and prioritizing own caseload to meet service needs, communicating with supervisors if service needs cannot be met.

Undertake comprehensive assessments and treatment plans of clients with stroke and other neurological conditions, frailty-related conditions, and multiple co-morbidities.

Use advanced clinical reasoning skills to formulate and deliver individual and group treatment programs.

Our temporary staffing shifts are calculated hourly and paid weekly. You are paid only for the hours you actually work during any Assignment. Bank workers are paid on fixed third point based on the Agenda for Change (AFC) pay, including basic pay and unsocial hours (if applicable).

Person Specification

Education

Essential

  • Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Evidence of up to date CPD portfolio
  • Involvement in Appraisal Scheme
  • Attendance at specialist short courses or equivalent CPD activities within the specialist areas of Adult Rehabilitation, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Older People Rehabilitation
  • Member of Professional Body (CSP)

Desirable

  • Experience post registration as a Band 5 physiotherapist
  • Experience working at a Junior level in a wide range of specialised clinical areas including outpatients, neurology, rehabilitation, orthopedics, and respiratory
  • Experience working in neuro/stroke rehab
  • Experience working in the NHS
