Domestic Loss Adjuster

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Domestic Loss Adjuster to join our team at Sedgwick. As a Domestic Loss Adjuster, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of domestic losses, from visiting the customer to finalisation of the claim.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effective communication with policyholders, insurance companies, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to assess the cause and extent of the loss.
- Dealing with property damage claims often involves complex situations and challenges.
- Accuracy is crucial in assessing property damage and determining the appropriate compensation.
- Handling multiple claims simultaneously, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines to ensure timely resolution of claims.
- Demonstrating empathy and providing excellent customer service, showing understanding and support throughout the claims process.
- Strong negotiation skills to reach fair and satisfactory settlements for all parties.
- Maintaining confidentiality, avoiding conflicts of interest, and adhering to professional standards and codes of conduct.
- Adapting quickly to different situations, ensuring effective and efficient claim resolution.
