We are seeking a skilled Loss Adjuster to join our team at Sedgwick, where you will play a critical role in handling domestic losses, from visiting the customer to finalising the claim. As a Loss Adjuster, you will work closely with customers, insurance companies, and contractors to assess and resolve property damage claims. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and investigate property damage claims to determine the extent of the loss and the cause of the damage.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, insurance companies, and contractors to ensure timely resolution of claims.
  • Develop and implement claims resolution plans to ensure fair and satisfactory outcomes for all parties involved.
  • Work closely with other teams, including underwriting, claims, and customer service, to ensure seamless claim handling.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimise claims handling processes.

Requirements:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, insurance companies, and contractors.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and claims resolution.Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple claims simultaneously.Professional qualifications in loss adjusting or a related field, or equivalent experience in a claims handling role.
