We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Experience Business Support Officer to join our team at Opus People Solutions. As a key member of our Customer Service and Blue Badge team, you will play a vital role in supporting the extra workload of Suffolk County Council.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing Blue Badge applications against the Department For Transport (DFT) eligibility criterion
- Verifying supporting documentation and medical evidence
- Providing accurate and effective advice and guidance to customers about the Blue Badge application process/rules of the Blue Badge scheme
- Delivering a telephone assisted Blue Badge application service to those customers who do not have access to the internet
- Carrying out associated administration tasks of the Blue Badge process
Requirements:
- Proven administration and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills both written, verbal and digital
- Good standard of literacy, grammar, and keyboard skills
- Ability to understand and interpret policies and procedure documents
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate of £11.98
- A 37-hour working week, Monday to Friday
- A 3-6 month contract with the possibility of extension
