About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our Prudential Risk Oversight team as a Senior Manager Model Risk Oversight. This role involves building and leading the team alongside developing our model risk oversight capabilities, framework and tools.

  • Leading the model risk oversight framework, validation and monitoring teams
  • Delivering effective oversight across the full suite of Yorkshire Building Society models
  • Developing model risk oversight capabilities, framework and tools
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Engaging with regulators and chairing model risk committees
  • Interacting with stakeholders at all levels within the business and communicating with external parties

Yorkshire Building Society Group is growing, and this new opportunity is part of that growth. Our Prudential Risk Oversight team is responsible for ensuring the robustness of our risk frameworks and models.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have extensive experience in model risk governance, validation and monitoring. You should be able to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels within the business and confidently communicate with external parties.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately £85,000-£110,000 per annum, depending on experience. The exact figure will be discussed during the hiring process. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including a performance-related bonus scheme, flexible working arrangements and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
