As a leading provider of specialist services to the asset management industry, Waystone Governance Ltd. requires a skilled professional to lead its Compliance Operations team. Reporting to the Group Chief Compliance Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and implementing all aspects of the Group Compliance Operations Framework.

About the Role:

This role involves developing and implementing a robust Compliance Monitoring plan to identify and mitigate potential risks, collaborating with local compliance officers to design and conduct regular Compliance Regulatory Focus assessments, and facilitating Compliance Monitoring testing and analyzing results to inform remediation actions.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and refine the Group Compliance Operations Framework.
  • Design and implement a Compliance Monitoring plan.
  • Collaborate with local compliance officers.
  • Facilitate Compliance Monitoring testing.
  • Analyze results and inform remediation actions.
  • Manage and oversee Compliance declarations policy reporting processes.
  • Ensure an appropriate escalation process is in place.
  • Coordinate with local compliance officers to ensure timely completion of F&P attestations.
  • Manage the F&P attestations process.
  • Regularly review and update the F&P framework.
  • Oversee the development and tracking of the firm's mandatory compliance training programs.
  • Work closely with the P&D function teams to design relevant training modules.
  • Report on training completion rates and follow up with non-compliant employees.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in a Compliance operations role in a global financial services firm.
  • A specific compliance and/or AML related qualification.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proficient in systems and software to automate manual processes and reporting.

Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year.
