SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant - Psychology Graduate to join our dedicated and supportive SEN provision at our prestigious all-through school in Enfield Chase, North London. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the SENDCo, assisting with the education and care of students with special educational needs.
The Role:
• Provide direct support to students with additional learning needs, working in both 1:1 and small group environments, under the guidance of the SENDCo and senior leadership team.
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective interventions, ensuring every student has access to high-quality education and resources.
• Develop and maintain relationships with students, families, and external agencies, promoting a collaborative approach to student support and achievement.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities, enhancing your knowledge and skills in supporting students with special educational needs.
Essential Requirements:
• A Bachelors degree in Psychology is essential for this role, with previous experience working with children with special educational needs preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and external partners.
Contract Details:
• Monday to Friday, term time only, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.
• Salary: £24,333 per annum, based on a 38-week contract (£475 per week).
