Lead Nurse in Prison Healthcare

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Services Manager to join our team at HMP Lewes. The role involves managing a team of mental health professionals, providing leadership and guidance to ensure that high-quality services are delivered to patients in custody.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' health needs and conducting risk assessments using evidence-based frameworks. Strong leadership skills and the ability to make clinical judgments are essential for this role.
Main Duties:
- Manage a team of mental health professionals to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions.
- Conduct risk assessments using sound clinical knowledge and make clinical judgments regarding immediate and long-term treatment needs.
