Special Educational Needs Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Special Educational Needs Assistant to join our team in Maidstone. This is an exciting opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to work in a 1:1 capacity with children with Special Educational Needs.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping vulnerable children achieve and grow in confidence. You will be working with children who have a range of needs, including Autism, SEMH, Behavioural needs, ADHD, and potentially some Speech and Language difficulties.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in SEN, working closely with our experienced team of professionals. We offer a comprehensive training program, which includes upskilling in SEN as it pertains to working in an education setting.
As a Special Educational Needs Assistant, you will be responsible for providing individual support to children with complex needs, promoting their emotional and social well-being, and enabling them to access education. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans to meet the needs of each child.
This is a full-time position, paying £83.33 - £90 per day, with opportunities for long-term/perm responsibilities. If you are a Psychology Graduate looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.
