Support Staff in Special Needs Education

Folkestone Girls are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable individuals to join our team as Casual Teaching Assistants. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working with children and young adults with special needs.
The successful candidate will be required to work on an 'as required' basis, supporting staff absences within the school. Hours will vary according to the needs of the School (and your availability to work), but you could be required to work a 6.5 hour shift at any time between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm, between Monday and Friday.
About the RoleWe require Teaching Assistants who are passionate about providing inclusive education and committed to safeguarding children and young people. As a member of our team, you will benefit from opportunities for further professional development and career progression.
Your responsibilities will include working in a team of bank staff to support staff absences, working in various areas of the school, and potentially changing daily.
Key Requirements- Experience working in a Special Needs or child-based environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to inclusive principles and safeguarding children and young people
