About the Role


Webrecruit is assisting an impactful charity in finding a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join their team in London.



Job Description

  • The primary focus of this role will be on supporting the healthy finances of the charity, with a particular emphasis on income sources.
  • You will ensure that income is processed, reconciled, and recorded accurately, manage the sales ledger, participate in banking activities, undertake system administration, and support the management of the mail.
  • Your tasks will include processing, posting, and reconciling statements to cashbook entries, managing donation income records in a fundraising CRM, and reconciling this against various sources while addressing any discrepancies.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and distributing sales invoices, tracking outstanding balances, processing bank receipts, communicating updates to non-finance staff and the wider organization, maintaining alignment and data accuracy across the CRM and finance systems, and participating in ad hoc finance projects and supporting system improvements.


Requirements

To excel as a Financial Administrator, you should possess:



  • Proven experience in finance or accounting, especially in transaction processing and reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in financial and CRM systems.
  • Excellent accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements.
