Charity Finance Director

We are delighted to be working with Katharine House Hospice Trust, a leading provider of specialist palliative care in Oxfordshire and South Northamptonshire. The charity is seeking a Director of Finance and Resources who will be a key member of the Hospice's Senior Leadership Team and instrumental in shaping the organisation's strategic direction.

The postholder will be responsible for the effective financial management of the Charity, including robust assessment of risk and providing sound financial advice to the Board of Trustees and Senior Leadership Team. A fully qualified accountant with a strong understanding of Charity SORP accounting and strategy and change management skills is required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the charity's mission and objectives
  • Managing the charity's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Providing financial advice and guidance to the Board of Trustees and Senior Leadership Team
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks
