About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Community Nursing Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist nursing advice and support to patients and families, in-patient and out-patient, throughout their care pathway.

Main Duties
  • Work as an integral member of the Multidisciplinary Team within University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust and across the community.
  • Provide specialist nursing advice and support to patients and families, in-patient and out-patient, throughout their care pathway.
  • Work closely with the Neuroscience multidisciplinary team in hospital and the community to ensure a co-ordinated quality service.
  • Be actively involved in education, audit and research.

Person Specification
  • Be able to speak fluent English to an appropriate standard.
  • Supportive, respectful, innovative, and collaborative.
  • RN Child or RN Adult with relevant Children's qualification.
  • Current NMC Registration.
  • Relevant accredited post registration qualification at level 3.
  • Degree or equivalent (in related health topic or willingness to work towards).
