About the Role

The Community Safety Service plays a pivotal role in addressing a diverse range of community safety concerns, including anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse, terrorism, and counter-extremism, fraud, and re-offending. Our team works collaboratively with multiple organizations to prevent and intervene in these issues, protecting those at greatest risk of serious harm and homicide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team to deliver project outcomes, working closely with internal teams such as Community Safety Analysts, Positive Futures, and the Stay Safe Partnership.
  • Collaborate with external partners, including the police, district councils, and social housing providers, to ensure effective anti-social behaviour responses.
  • Ensure that project activity is data-driven and that policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to.
  • Identify gaps in provision and expand skills into service commissioning.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with external partners.

Requirements
  • Experience/knowledge of working in an anti-social behaviour arena.
  • Tackling anti-social behaviour.
  • Anti-social behaviour legislation, including the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
  • The impact anti-social behaviour can have on victims and communities.
  • Best practice and initiatives used in response to anti-social behaviour.
