About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Scheduler to join our team at Marlowe Fire & Security. As a Service Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and profitable scheduling of our Service & Maintenance Engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch Service & Maintenance Engineers to complete corrective and preventative maintenance visits in line with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Proactively monitor engineer activity to ensure timely dispatch and attendance of jobs, and monitor throughout the day to ensure job completion.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with engineers, stores/supply chain department, and regional service manager to ensure all calls are actioned accordingly.
- Work closely with your manager and support your assigned regional service manager to meet customer expectations.
- Liaise with key clients over the phone to enhance both internal and external working relationships.
- Complete the regional schedulers checklist on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, maintaining an audit trail of this activity for yourself and your regional scheduler.
- Monitor the Scheduling Portal (Cash4Windows) to ensure real-time visibility of your engineers, highlighting any anomalies to your RSM.
- Retrieve all phone and email messages and process accordingly within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Process orders to ensure all work is carried out in time to allow invoice creation.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years' experience in a scheduling/planning/coordinating role, preferably with experience of scheduling field-based colleagues. Familiarity with in-house and external systems and databases, such as Cash4Windows, is a significant advantage. A proactive approach to workload management, clear communication skills, and good telephone manner are essential.
