Fire and Security Scheduler

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team at Marlowe Fire and Security. As a Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and profitable scheduling and dispatch of our Service and Maintenance Engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and dispatch Service and Maintenance Engineers to complete corrective and preventative maintenance visits in line with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Proactively monitor engineer activity to ensure timely dispatch and attendance of jobs, and monitor throughout the day to ensure job completion.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with Engineers, Stores/Supply Chain Department, and Regional Service Manager to ensure all calls are actioned accordingly.
- Work closely with your manager and support your assigned Regional Service Manager to meet customer expectations.
- Liaise with key clients over the phone to enhance both internal and external working relationships.
- Complete the Regional Schedulers checklist on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, maintaining an audit trail of this activity for yourself and your regional scheduler.
- Monitor the Scheduling Portal (Cash4Windows) to ensure real-time visibility of your engineers, highlighting any anomalies to your RSM.
- Retrieve all phone and email messages and process accordingly within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Process orders to ensure all work is carried out in time to allow invoice creation.
- At least 2 years' experience in a Scheduling/Planning/Coordinating role.
- Experience of scheduling field-based colleagues, such as Engineers, would be an ideal background, however, other similar industry experience would definitely be considered and welcomed.
- Familiarity of using in-house and external systems and databases – Cash4Windows (C4W) would be a significant advantage, but not mandatory.
- Proactive approach to management of workload.
- Clear communicator with good telephone manner with colleagues and customers.
