Care Home Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Lead Activities Coordinator to join our team at Neville Court care home in Kendray, Barnsley.

Neville Court is part of Exemplar Health Care, a leading provider of nursing care services. Our team supports adults living with mental health conditions and neuro-disabilities such as brain injuries and Huntington's disease.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Activities Team and organising engaging activities for our residents, promoting choice, dignity, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individual activity plans based on residents' unique needs and preferences
- Foster a sense of community among residents through group activities and events
- Support residents to pursue their interests and develop new skills
- Collaborate with other teams to enhance residents' overall quality of life
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
Requirements and Qualifications
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology)
- Proven experience in a similar role or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work flexibly and manage competing priorities
- Knowledge of adult mental health and neuro-disability services
