Welcome to Murrayfield Care Home, a tranquil care facility in a peaceful area. Our purpose-built home boasts 74 spacious bedrooms, inviting lounges, a convenient shop, beautifully landscaped gardens, and a serene bird-watching area.

As a key member of our team, you'll:

  • Build friendships with our residents to help them adjust to life in a care home.
  • Deliver a high level of personal and psychological care to all residents in a professional manner.
  • Maintain good communication levels with Manager, Senior Care Assistants, Chef, and relatives to ensure smooth operation of the role and high levels of co-operation.
  • Complete records where required to a satisfactory standard.
  • Maintain client, staff, and business confidentiality at all times.
  • Plan daytime and evening activities.
  • Maintain an awareness of the Health and Safety requirements.
  • Coordinate the activities program with other services in the facility and create a monthly planner.
  • Encourage resident participation in activities and document outcomes, being aware of residents' hobbies and interests and assisting them to pursue these by creating resident profiles.
  • Work individually and within the team to provide the necessary backup for all staff, to a standard commensurate with aims and objectives of the Home and in consideration of its residents.
