**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Carbon Forward Events Planner to join our team. As an Event Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating events from start to finish, ensuring that every aspect of the event meets our high standards.

The salary for this role is approximately £27,500 per annum, which is competitive for someone with your level of experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Event Planning:
    • Plan and coordinate events from start to finish, ensuring that every aspect of the event meets our high standards.
    • Work closely with the events team to define objectives, schedule, and key requirements.
  2. Sponsorship and Speaker Liaison:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for event speakers and sponsors, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
    • Coordinate sponsorship sales with Events Director.
  3. Vendor Management:
    • Research and negotiate with vendors to secure services such as catering, audio-visual setups, and venues.
    • Ensure vendor contracts and agreements are properly managed and maintained.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools.
