Event Coordinator
OverviewThe Millennium Alliance is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Event Planner to join our team. This role will involve coordinating and executing large-scale events, including conferences, meetings, and exhibitions.
SalaryThe salary for this position ranges from £25,000 to £30,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionThe Corporate Event Planner will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Communicating with sponsors, delegate attendees, hotel and venue staff, internal sales staff, and travel companies.
- Ensuring meeting requirements are met, work agendas are planned, and travel arrangements are as requested.
- Planning meeting schedules, negotiating and confirming contractors, and collecting materials for assembly guides.
- Overseeing event organization, scheduling, efficiency, and execution.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A strong ability to communicate effectively with high-level business people.
- Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to travel approximately 10-15 weeks per year.
