About the Role

Express Solicitors is seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our professional support team, you will play a vital role in helping our fee-earning staff grow and develop through a range of training methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver group training and one-to-one coaching to solicitors and other fee-earning staff.
  • Develop and implement a programme of continuous training to meet the identified needs of our staff.
  • Provide training and guidance on the use of Proclaim to aid case management and performance.
  • Help develop and manage our graduate scheme for law graduates.
  • Identify training needs through collaboration with senior management, supervisors, and HR.
  • Attend training meetings and report on current projects and issues.
  • Participate in department meetings to understand business and user needs.
  • Design, develop, and update training materials to reinforce delivered training.
  • Monitor feedback and make relevant changes.
  • Maintain training records and attendance.

Requirements:

  • A qualified solicitor or equivalent experience with a strong background in personal injury.
  • Case handling experience from start to finish.
  • Experience in composing and delivering training, ideally in a one-to-one, workshop, or presentation setting.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to present information clearly.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to motivate and encourage others.
  • Ability to tailor training packages to individual needs.

What We Offer:

  • Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working pattern after probation.
  • 23 days holiday a year, rising to 26 days, plus public and bank holidays.
