About the Role

This Higher Level Teaching Assistant role offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant and supportive primary school team in Banbury, delivering high-quality education and making a significant impact in the lives of our pupils.

Responsibilities
  • Classroom Support: Collaborate with teachers to provide targeted support to students, ensuring access to the curriculum.
  • Interventions: Design and deliver small group interventions or 1:1 support sessions to meet the needs of pupils requiring additional assistance.
  • Learning Environment: Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment, supporting classroom management and behaviour.
  • Planning & Preparation: Assist with lesson planning, resource preparation, and marking to ensure a smooth learning experience.
  • Pupil Progress: Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and identifying areas for further support.
  • Diverse Needs: Tailor support to meet the individual needs of children with varying abilities, including SEN.
  • Safeguarding: Adhere to safeguarding policies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all pupils.
