Job Overview: Our primary school in Banbury seeks an experienced and dedicated HLTA to join our team. As a key member of our educational support team, you will work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality education and cover lessons when required.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Classroom Support: Provide targeted support to students across various year groups, assisting with lesson delivery and ensuring access to the curriculum for all pupils.
  • Intervention & Support: Lead small group interventions or 1:1 support sessions to help pupils who need additional assistance with literacy, numeracy, or other subjects.
  • Classroom Environment: Work closely with the class teacher to maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment, supporting behaviour management as needed.
  • Lesson Planning & Preparation: Assist with lesson planning, preparing resources, and marking work as required for a smooth and effective learning experience.
  • Pupil Progress: Help track and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and identifying areas for further support.
  • Diverse Needs: Work with children with diverse needs, including SEN, to tailor support and ensure inclusion in lessons.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils, adhering to safeguarding policies and promoting a secure learning environment.
Salary & Benefits:
  • A competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
