As a Teaching and Learning Mentor at Recruitment Education Global Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process in our primary school team in Banbury.

About the Role

You will work closely with our teachers to deliver high-quality education, supporting the management of behaviour, and ensuring that all pupils can access the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Classroom Support: Assist with the delivery of lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting the class teacher as required.
  • Small Group Intervention: Lead small group interventions or 1:1 support sessions to help pupils who need additional assistance with literacy, numeracy, or other subjects.
  • Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Track and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and identifying areas where further support may be needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience in a Primary School Setting as a teaching assistant, HLTA, or in a similar educational support capacity.
  • Strong Understanding of the Primary Curriculum and how to differentiate learning for a range of abilities.
  • Excellent Communication Skills with both children and adults, including the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a salary in the range of £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive leadership team.
