Indigenous Community Liaison Coordinator

Job Description
Frafca is a non-profit organization committed to promoting the well-being of Indigenous peoples. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our Sixties Scoop Survivor Healing Program.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Assist program staff with logistical tasks related to trauma-informed care sessions and group activities.
- Help coordinate community outreach activities or events related to the program.
- Provide administrative support, including maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and coordinating participant and stakeholder communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional education in office administration, social services, or Indigenous studies is an asset.
- At least one year of experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a social service, non-profit, or Indigenous community-based setting.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and an understanding of culturally sensitive practices is highly preferred.
Working Conditions
- The position will involve regular office hours, with occasional evening or weekend work required to support program activities.
Estimated Salary: $32,000 - $42,000 per annum (20 hours/week)
