Job Title: Artist Liaison Coordinator

About The Job:

We are seeking an experienced Artist Liaison Coordinator to join our team at Theartgorgeous. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with artists, studios, and internal teams to manage sales, inventory, and exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal enquiries related to artists and their studio teams.
  • Manage inventory databases, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Maintain interest/priority client lists for high-demand artists and communicate regularly with the Sales team.
  • Update artist schedules bi-weekly, utilizing Google Alerts to track upcoming events.
  • Communicate effectively with internal artist email groups regarding incoming work, returns, technical queries, and other miscellaneous information.
  • Oversee creation of presentation materials for Sales and Artist Liaisons prior to trips or meetings.
  • Manage sales packs in advance of exhibitions for designated artists.
  • Liaise with Sales regarding exhibition details, pricing, and availability of works.
  • Draft précis for incoming artworks and offer letters for exhibitions.
  • Create weekly exhibition sales reports for Directors.
  • Liaise with Accounts to review artist statements and flag queries.
  • Field inventory stock queries and facilitate conversations between Sales and Artist Liaisons.
  • Coordinate art fair participation, communicating with studios and providing images when necessary.
  • Review quarterly reports with Artist and Sales Liaisons, preparing presentation documents.
  • Undertake annual price reviews, updating inventory and communicating changes.
  • Liaise with studios on specific client requests, tracking progress effectively.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and databases.
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Experience working in sales, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Google Alerts and email groups.
  • Proficient in creating presentation materials and sales reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
