Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at Scripps Institution of Oceanography and the University of Edinburgh. As a researcher, you will contribute to a project examining the role of internal waves in the ocean's energetics.

About the Role
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research, develop new skills, and collaborate with international experts. You will be responsible for developing numerical models, analyzing data, and publishing research findings. Expertise in fluid dynamics, numerical modeling, and oceanography or atmospheric sciences is essential.

Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include developing and implementing numerical models, analyzing data, and publishing research findings. You will work closely with supervisors W R Young and J Vanneste to advance our understanding of the ocean's dynamics.

Requirements
To be considered, candidates must hold a PhD by the start date. A strong background in fluid dynamics and expertise in numerical modeling, evidenced by publications, are required. Experience in oceanography or atmospheric sciences is desirable.

Benefits
