CV Library is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Model Developer to join our team. As a key member of our risk management department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining quantitative models used in our bank's risk frameworks.

You will work closely with analysts to design, develop, and implement statistical risk and decision support models, as well as provide business and stakeholder advice on model use, impact, and implementation.

  • Develop and maintain risk and decision-support models and related analytics to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide recommendations on model development and implementation.
  • Contribute to the development of risk strategies and policies to ensure effective risk management.
  • Work closely with the risk management team to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the organization's overall risk profile is managed effectively.
  • Assist in training and developing analysts to enhance their skills and knowledge in risk model development.

We are looking for an experienced professional with strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for risk management.

  • Proven experience in risk model development and practical application, including scoring and model monitoring.
  • Expertise in statistical modelling and data analysis, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with risk management frameworks and regulations, such as Basel III and Solvency II.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strong understanding of risk systems and methodologies, with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple terms.

Estimated salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
