About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Risk Modelling Analyst to join our team at Lloyds Bank plc. As a key member of our audit function, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality risk and control assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of audits and lead evaluations of controls, applying proficient knowledge of audit methodology and assigned business/risk area.
  • Assist in the development of risk models and conduct research using primary data sources to identify key trends and themes.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to ensure their needs are met and help senior colleagues manage client relationships.
  • Identify shortcomings in current compliance processes, systems, and procedures and suggest improvements within assigned units and disciplines.
  • Deliver prescribed outcomes by working as directed within established data management systems and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualifications in a relevant field such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
  • Practical experience developing, using, or monitoring models measuring credit, market, or actuarial risks.
  • Knowledge of regulatory capital requirements in insurance or banking and effective model risk management and governance.
  • The ability to deliver risk and control assurance activity that is timely, impactful, insightful, and valued by stakeholders.
  • Experience using statistical analysis and qualitative techniques to validate models.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £45,954 to £51,060 per annum, depending on location and experience. This figure is based on our latest data and may be subject to change.
