Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Modelling Specialist to join our team. This role will be based in either Bristol or Edinburgh, working on a hybrid basis with at least 2 days per week in one of these locations.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £45,954 + plus an annual bonus award, subject to Group performance. Our benefits package also includes a generous pension contribution of up to 15%, share schemes, discounted shopping, 28 days' holiday, and a range of wellbeing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver risk and control assurance activity that is timely, impactful, insightful, and valued by stakeholders.
  • Analyse, understand, and communicate data as information, and use data to drive effective audit outcomes.
  • Develop personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities, while also coaching others as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of generic elements of a model life cycle, associated risks, and effective model risk management and governance.
  • Practical experience developing, using, or monitoring models measuring Credit, Market, or Actuarial Risks.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality results under pressure.
