About the Role:

The Air Ambulance Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for leading our store team to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales growth, and maintain a high level of store presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Develop the Store Team: Proactively support and encourage the personal and professional development of your team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Drive Sales and Profit Growth: Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and profits, ensuring the store meets or exceeds budgeted targets.
  • Customer Service and Experience: Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service and have a positive shopping experience.
  • Store Operations and Management: Run the store autonomously, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, including planning and managing deliveries and collections.
  • Visual Merchandising and Store Presentation: Create a store layout that aligns with our brand guidelines, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging shopping environment.
  • Data Protection and Compliance: Ensure the store is compliant with data protection regulations and policies.
  • Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion: Promote and uphold our values of equality, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring a respectful and inclusive work environment.
  • Quality and Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance store operations, customer service, and overall performance.

Requirements:

  • Leadership and Management Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a track record of developing and motivating staff.
  • Business Acumen and Financial Management: Strong understanding of financial and numerical information, with experience in cash handling and online stock control.
  • IT and Digital Skills: Proficient in using IT systems and digital tools to manage store operations, customer service, and sales performance.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
