About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Floor Manager to join our team at River Island. As a key member of our retail store management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service and Sales
    • Provide outstanding customer service and ensure that customers have a positive shopping experience.
    • Drive sales growth through effective merchandising, visual displays, and customer engagement.
    • Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive store environment.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and motivate a team of sales assistants to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
    • Coach and develop team members to improve their sales and customer service skills.
  • Store Operations and Visual Merchandising
    • Ensure that the store is visually appealing and well-merchandised at all times.
    • Manage stock levels, inventory, and visual displays to maximize sales and minimize waste.
    • Implement and maintain high standards of store cleanliness and organization.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Monitor and analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
    • Provide regular sales reports and insights to the store management team.
    • Use data and insights to inform sales strategies and improve customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Floor Manager or in a similar retail management role.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth and improving customer service.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
