Job Title: Structured Cabling Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Structured Cabling Network Engineer to join our team at Thought Storm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining complex data and telecommunications systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement structured cabling systems for data and voice networks
  • Install, test, and inspect deployed communications systems
  • Maintain and support critical multisite networks
  • Work with fiber optics, T1, DS3, MPLS, cellular technologies, CDMA, TDMA, VoIP, 5G, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, and IP networks
  • Utilize networking tools such as Fluke Versiv, netAlly AirCheck G3, netAllynXG, iperf3, nmap, wireshark, and traceroute
  • Develop intermediate skills in using Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Visio
  • Test copper and fiber networks

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in data and telecommunications
  • 5 years of experience in installation, maintenance, and support of critical multisite networks
  • Highly desired: 2 years of experience with networking tools and 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office products

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive rate of $48/hr on W2 or $52/hr on C2C, with a 12 dollar flexibility. We require a video interview and do not accept H1B or OPT candidates.
