About the Role

As a Network Engineer at Reed Exhibitions, you will be responsible for conducting research on connectivity infrastructure and design, and performing Systems Engineering tasks. You will troubleshoot issues and execute basic systems upgrades.

Responsibilities
  • Completing assigned tasks using basic knowledge of network environment and diagnose network performance problems.
  • Installing or troubleshooting programs within network environments
  • Learning solutions and indicators regarding security in network environment
  • Solving problems to support assignments involving the execution of a series of related tasks
  • Conducting basic tuning on the network

Requirements
  • Possess a solid foundation in Network Engineering gained through practical experience
  • Have a BS in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Be proficient in multiple operating environments
  • Have basic knowledge of network components such as WAN and LAN
  • Be familiar with network diagnostic and monitoring tools
  • Have a basic understanding of network security
  • Any experience with Cisco switches, PaloAlto firewalls, AWS and Telephony will be beneficial
