Job Title: Engineering Professional

At Engineered Foam Products Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Professional to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual to provide engineering services to all areas of our plant, ensuring safe and reliable running of all machinery and services on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to identify and resolve faults or improve processes.
  • Start and shut down plant equipment, including steam and water systems, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of boilers, vessels, and other equipment for insurance inspections.
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical fault-finding, repairs, and planned preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.
  • Isolate electrical circuits and mechanical systems in a safe manner, in accordance with relevant regulations and site safe working procedures.
  • Proactively review plant condition, identify faults, and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure prompt action is taken.
  • Provide a comprehensive and proactive service to the plant, including permit issue and maintenance of records.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Time-served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Professional electrical or mechanical qualification and experience.
  • Manufacturing or car mechanic experience.
  • PC literacy and ability to use software applications.
  • Decision-making ability and willingness to use initiative.
  • Proactive and innovative approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing situations.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of machinery hydraulics, pneumatics, steam systems, maintenance programs, and other relevant areas.
  • Experience with expansion and moulding processes is preferred.
Working Hours:

38 hours per week, with a shift pattern of dayshift Monday to Thursday, Friday, and backshift Monday to Thursday, Friday. There may be a requirement to work nightshift to support business needs.
