Job Title: Engineering & Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As an Engineering & Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of reliability technicians and implementing maintenance excellence strategies to drive improvements in equipment reliability and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the Reliability Technician Team: Coordinate the activities of the reliability technician team and ensure tasks align with production plans, schedules, and engineering needs.
  2. Implement Maintenance Excellence Strategy: Assist in implementing the maintenance excellence strategy, focusing on driving improvements in equipment reliability and availability, and leading FMECA activities.
  3. Collaborate with Planning Team: Collaborate with the planning team to achieve maintenance excellence objectives.
  4. Support Maintenance Managers: Provide effective support for maintenance managers and act as a deputy when necessary.
  5. Identify Improvement Tools: Identify improvement tools and techniques to support maintenance excellence.
  6. Offer Coaching and Support: Offer coaching and support to implement effective root cause analysis techniques.

Requirements:

  1. Time Served Electrical Engineer: Time served electrical engineer or automation/controls apprenticeship or a minimum of HNC in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  2. Proven Technical Background: Proven technical background in a high-speed manufacturing industry.
  3. Experience in Maintenance Excellence: Experience in maintenance excellence tools and techniques, such as FMECA.
  4. Ability to Respond to Changing Priorities: Ability to respond to changing priorities, displaying planning and organization skills.
  5. Committed to Root Cause Analysis: Committed to root cause analysis and proactive continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Able to Foster Teamwork: Able to foster teamwork to maximize the effectiveness of the relationship between engineering and operations, bringing about performance improvements across the site.
  7. IT Skills: IT skills, including interfacing with PC-controlled machinery and working with preventative maintenance and SAP-based store systems.
