Key Responsibilities

As a Detention Custody Officer with Serco, you will be responsible for the operational management of prisoners within a secure environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting prisoner headcounts and searches
  • Monitoring and managing prisoners who are at risk of self-harm
  • Coordinating with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the prison
