About the Role

We are looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team in an Outstanding graded Secondary School in Tower Hamlets. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with complex needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop strategies that meet individual needs, and provide support to pupils with behaviour and SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing support to pupils with behaviour and SEMH needs
  • Working closely with teachers and other support staff to develop strategies that meet individual needs
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and behaviour
Requirements
  • A graduate degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with children with additional needs
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently
  • Ambitious career aspirations within Psychology, Therapy, Counselling, Support Work, or Behaviour
