Job Overview
West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Band 6 Clinical Educator to join its Critical Care team. This role involves providing high-quality staff development for Critical Care Staff following national guidelines and frameworks. The post holder will have completed a UK accredited, 60-credit post graduate award in Intensive Care Nursing.

Main Responsibilities
As a Clinical Educator in Critical Care, you will be responsible for the provision of multiple educational workstreams, including bedside and classroom-based training. You will also support staff undertaking external postgraduate academic courses and assess competencies using the national critical care competency assessment process.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience within the critical care environment, with the ability to manage critically ill patients with highly complex therapies with minimal support. They will also possess excellent communication skills, including verbal, non-verbal, and written. A registration as a Registered Nurse and NMC Registration are essential requirements for this role.

Estimated salary: £54,917 - £69,433 per annum.
