Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nursing Specialist to join our team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have completed a UK accredited postgraduate award in Intensive Care Nursing and have experience in teaching clinical or non-clinical situations.

Main Duties
  • To provide high-quality educational programs for critical care staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement multiple educational workstreams, including bedside and classroom-based training.
  • Support staff undertaking external postgraduate academic courses, assessing competencies using the national critical care competency assessment process.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:
  • Completed a UK accredited postgraduate award in Intensive Care Nursing.
  • Experience in teaching clinical or non-clinical situations.
  • A strong understanding of critical care nursing principles and practices.

Employment Details

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary of £44,808 - £55,760 per annum, depending on experience.
